Marvels MAS Katy Robotics Team

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) a robotics community that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics competitions, and Itkan institute of technology have teamed up to provide children, ages 12-18, in underserved communities the opportunities to participate in STEM programs, focusing on science, technology, engineering and math. The initiative provides students with the tools, technology, coaching and confidence to pursue and promote STEM based careers in the future.  

Marvels MAS Katy Robotics team, a community based group of students, teachers, and parents, in conjunction with FIRST and Itkan, will be competing in their first robotics competition. Marvels MAS Katy robotics team is composed of 25 students from various backgrounds and skill levels, coming together as one dynamic team with the shared dream to forge their way on the national stage at Fisrt’s National Robotics Competition 2023. Students will learn advanced programing, Auto CAD, Solidworks, Coding, 3D printing as well as team building, public speaking and business concepts all while building amazing robots.
